Buy at Amazon I thoroughly enjoy each new issue of Scrapbooks Etc. magazine. I eagerly devour a large chunk of the magazine the day it arrives and go back later to reread it. I love the layouts, tips, techniques, and ideas.
The special features and articles are inspiring, creative, and eye-catching. I also enjoy the sections that appear each month.
Make It Yours is a column similar to other magazines in which one layout with a sketch is interpreted by other designers. It’s great to see the varied results. You can post your takes on the originals at the Scrapbooks Etc.'s web site’s gallery.
Made In Minutes is a section that highlights layouts for you to adapt and scraplift, so you can get your pages done faster. I love to look at layouts, so of course this fits the bill for me. Readers are also invited to post their Made In Minutes scraplifts at the gallery.
Supply Smarts is an interesting column that helps you “get the most bang for your scrapbooking buck.” This column shows you how to make multiple projects from one set of basic supplies or a kit. Extra projects made with the leftover materials are displayed on the web site .
Snapshot Savvy is column that focuses on helping readers to improve their photographs. My photography skills need work. I find it helpful; although I worry I may be beyond help. I seem to forget everything in the rush to get a picture before the moment passes—a common problem with children, parades, etc.
I also love seeing the work of Leah Fung, a contributing editor at Scrapbooks Etc., throughout the magazine. I love her style.
Scrapbooks Etc. magazine is published eight times per year and the current cover price is $5.99. A subscription is $24.00 for two years. I love this magazine, so of course I have a subscription.
